The Chancellor’s recent Autumn gloom statement had one bit of good news locally is that the Bletchley-Oxford (and BY-Aylesbury/HW) routes are earmarked for investment. Since the last trains ran in 1993 there has been a lot of hot air expressed over this line being reopened, lets hope this is more definite as it should never been closed to passengers anyway!
