WCML Deltic, Fri 4th and Sun 6th March 2011

Essentially Preton - Euston positioning tours for 55022’s ECML Edinburgh trip on Saturday 5th March the WCML attracted a good deal of interest, helped by decent weather.

55022 was on load 12 with an idling “purple Ronnie” on the back too, yet the storm down the Trent saw what power this loco has…
