37041 out of the Street and 47784 to MK, moves from 1982/2000

2 days out here,  some 18 years apart. 1982 was a proper British Rail Eastern Region day with steam heat still dominant on the Cambridge services and a variety of power to enjoy. 2000 was not a year for the WCML to be at its best in terms of service quality, but great fun to the enthusiast. Whats odd was that the Feb 2000 moves saw probably around 50plus  bashers out on the West Midlands “daytripper” circuit yet back in May 82, there were just a few of us out, as we were perhaps spread out across various parts of the country as was such a vast range of trains and spots to enjoy the action on the real railway of the time.
